I find this beardless Pete Stucky with a shirt much more appealing than the Pete Stucky with huge beard and denim overalls in another photo. Just sayin'.

I have Pete's name down as spelled with out an 'e'--Stucky.

We'll need to look into that. The spelling of the name came from the back of the photograph. Thanks for pointing this out.

My crazy short haired friend and i were hitchhiking to n.y. to get jobs so we could fly to the virgin islands and live off the land in nov, 1972, when this truck driver said. No...we should get jobs in Elkhart instead and theres a place called Partly Daves that is a crash pad and they'll let you stay there. My friend and I did stay a couple days at Partly Daves....then I met a girl Mary D?....she had a little girl named Rene....anyway we stayed with Mary two months...saved our money....and did indeed make it to the virgin islands (in a round about way).....thank you Partly Daves...you changed my WHOLE LIFE.
