Oddly, this is supposedly after the line closed. This is the Cavan & Leitrim Railway as featured earlier in Ballinamore, which closed on March 31st 1959. www.flickr.com/photos/nlireland/16618218853/in/photostream/

He was awarded the Military Cross and was twice mentioned in dispatches for exceptional bravery in face of great difficulties. History records the exploits of his regiment.
