  Accompanying note: "Mrs. Emma Hill, mother of Mrs. Ray Rolle and Mrs. Thelma Curry, shows J.A. Gersham, District U.S. Extension Service agent, additional farmland which her two daughters plan to have converted to use in the Conservation Reserve Program." The Eisenhower-Benson Soil Bank Program, supported by Secretary of Agriculture Ezra Taft Benson, paid farmers to take land out of crop production by planting trees.
