Lambert and Tissandier, Ponton Société Anonyme Nouvelle des Hydroglisseurs de Lambert

Ponton is not the name of the machine. It is the name of a person: vicomte Gustave de Ponton d'Amécourt, a French aviation pioneer. So were comte Charles de Lambert and Paul Tissandier. (Tissandier was an early trainee pilot of the Wrights). The machine looks like it could be an experimental model of hydroglisseur (air-fan boat) by Lambert's company, the Société Anonyme Nouvelle des Hydroglisseurs de Lambert. Most of Lambert's hydroglisseurs were plain air-fan boats used in the (then-)colonies of Asia and Africa. This one looks like a racing model. Same goes for photo # 01_00082016
