  The store was owned by Eva and Rob Jackson from approximately 1940's until they sold it to the Mordak's in the late 60's. They then moved to "The Little House" next door, to the north. During the time the Jackson's owned it, there were many borders, including a doctor & office, general store, restaurant and general meeting place of Northbrook's most colourful citizenry. My mom (Jeanne Jackson) and Dad (OPP Good Stout) met there while he was stationed in Northbrook. I loved staying weekends & summers there during my childhood. 50's - 60's
