    Hello there, I really like your wonderful stream of old illustrations, this is a gem on flickr. However, I think that this picture does not stem from where you say it is from. The subtitle reads The most beautiful German folk songs, also the signature hints on a different illustrator than the one quoted by you, even the costumes of the dancers hint to a German background, so Sicily is probably not involved here. Still, thank you for sharing those beautiful finds with us.
