You may be interested to know that this image also appears in a late Victorian book called The Living Races of Mankind by Hutchinson and Co and the photo credit is Leroux ( probably Alexandre Leroux) of Algiers. Peter Blake used the image as a basis for one of his Wrestlers series called the Tuareg, now in the Tate Gallery; www.tate.org.uk/art/artworks/blake-the-tuareg-p04052
