In the 1980's, you used to come along the South Circular road, turn left onto the first bit of Camden Street, turn right and double back onto the SCR via what I think was Charlotte Street, then go along the SCR and left again onto the very top of Harcourt Street........ This shows the scene today, g.co/maps/v6g5t - you now go along Charlotte Way to get to Harcourt Street!
