I have some aditional info 1898 /1899 underwriters register 131 gross ton 90.8 ft 18.5 beam 6 ft depth built Echuca 1876 Owner at this time Edward Rich official # 73347 bit more research i think you could get a name for the barge.There would be nearly a thousand bales there plus a few more on the bow of the boat it is interesting all this is done with 25 hp a modern b double would take around 140 of them bales and need heap more hp to do it.love this pic so crisp.
