    North American RA-5C Vigilante, BuNo 156610 (c/n NR316-8). As per the Joe Baugher site: www.joebaugher.com/navy_serials/thirdseries20.html [H]it by SAM over Haiphong, North Vietnam Jun 7, 1972. Able to fly out over Gulf of Tonkin where crew ejected and were rescued by Navy HH-3A helicopters.

    The fuel dump was between the engines. When in afterburner the fuel was lit. Burner used 1000 pounds of fuel a minute as did the dump.
