Photo exactly shot afternoon 25 april 1945 one mile north of San Benedetto twin bell towers, when the bridge was completed on 05.00 p.m. hours on the Po River. The water flows east, rightside. This 40 tons bridge is the second that US engineers launched that day, with the first treadway ponton bridge already completed on 12.00 a.m. hours, just two miles downstream on the shore of Brede. Other two ponton bridges was launched next, crossing the Po River at Revere and Ostiglia (by 40 tons for tanks) and a treadway ponton bridge for jeeps and trucks at Bonizzo shore. Even UK and Newzealanders engineers launched two 40 tons and two treadway bridges, more downstream, two at isola Tontola and Porporana and two at Pontelagoscuro, north of Ferrara.
