  History : - Credit - www.norsemanhistory.ca/aircraft.htm c/n 107 43-5116 NC55444 Delivered to the USAAF as aircraft No. 43-5116 on February 27, 1943. Flown to Edmonton, Alberta on March 9, 1943, then on to Alaska on May 1, 1943. Damaged by ground crew in a ground accident at Cooking Lake, Alberta on October 18, 1943. Later returned to the U.S. via Great Falls, Montana. Assigned to Reconstruction Finance Corporation, Augusta, Georgia for disposal as surplus on September 17, 1945. Sold to Paul Horvath, Miami, Florida and registered as NC55444.
