    I've got a notion that the Aeroflot Tu-104 first appeared in the West in 1956 in Copenhagen...the SAS steps, DC-3 and Scandia in this photo and the VW van in another pic support it...Tu-104s got to London Heathrow later in 1956..this Tu-104 is CCCP-L5414....cue Stig :-)

    This was the third production Tu-104 which made its first flight 11 May 1956. First noted outside Soviet Union 29 July 1956. It crashed 19 Feb 1958 and even if repaired never went back into service. Its c/n was 6350103 (not 6350101 which was production aircraft one) With the visible SAS boarding equipment, present photo set most likely taken in Copenhagen or Stockholm at some point between the two dates.
