Edward was born April 17, 1924 in Albany, New York to the late Louise and Charles Snicer. He retired in 1969 as a Naval Officer, having served as a Navy Pilot in both World War II and in Korea. He also retired from the Babcock & Wilcox Company. He never missed a mass at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. Edward loved his family, sports and Saturdays playing cards with his former golf buddies. Preceded in death by his wife, Bertie and son, Glenn, he is survived by his sons, Gary (Cindy) Snicer, George Snicer and Jim (Pam) Snicer; granddaughter, Jolea (Dave) Zuber and two great-granddaughters, Noele Faith and Adalyn Grace Zuber.
