i remember my relatives told me about my grand-grand-grand-father which was fighting in Russian Imperial Army. They played cards with the "enemy" and after the alarm, they could kill each other.

Now this shows humanity, great photograph of worldwide importance. War is such a waste.

The architecture is charming - anyone have any idea what color schemes were used with this type structure?

I guess red and white.

It is a great shot, but there is a part of me that should and does, based what this is a picture of, be horrified,and mortified. Yet If I didn't know, I would just think of this as a quaint little bed and breakfast. Still, over all, a great shot.
