  Accompanying note: "Abloom in Killearn Gardens State Park are dogwood trees whose wood, according to tradition, formed the cross, and [redbud?] trees which still blush with shame because from one of them Judas Iscariot hanged himself. Framing the flowering trees, at the right, are graceful palms. Five miles north of Tallahassee on the banks of Lake Hall, the Park will have drawn an estimated 28,000 visitors in the year ending the middle of June, according to the Florida Park Service. The 10,000 increase is attributed largely to opening of a picnic area which remains available during the garden's rest period, from June 18 to October 18."
