  This looks more like Maletsunyane Falls in the highlands of Lesotho near the town of Semonkong. Compare it to contemporary pictures of the falls--the rock formations are the same.

  No, the bottom one is definitely Karkloof. Take a look at a contemporary photo -- even the vegetation to the right of the falls still follows the same pattern. And the top one is definitely Howick Falls. It's fascinating to see it without all the development.
