ELDER SON OF SIR EDWARD BEAUCHAMP, BART. AND LADY BEAUCHAMP. BORN APRIL 5TH 1891 WOUNDED NOV. 1ST 1914 AT YPRES AND INVALIDED HOME. RETURNED TO THE FRONT NOV 24TH . FELL MORTALLY WOUNDED LEADING HIS MEN IN THE AFTERNOON ATTACK AT GIVENCHY DEC 21ST 1914 AND DIED THE FOLLOWING DAY AT LILLERSWHERE HE WAS BURIED. “ I hold such an admiration for your son’s verygallant conduct on Dec 21st. We can ill afford to lose such brave fellows and we shall alwaysin the Coldstream remember his fine example”
