    Note, the F-14A Tomcat in the background, while wearing US markings, is actually one the 80 Tomcats ordered by the Shah of Iran (delivered as IIAF 3-6010, later re-serialed as IRIAF 3-6040 / ex- BuNo 160338). 79 Tomcats would ultimately be delivered to Iran (including the one in this photo) before the Shah was deposed in 1979.

    The US Navy F-14 Tomcat serving as the backdrop (and captured several times in this collection) is BuNo 160395 (c/n 251), a Block 95 Tomcat (F-14A-95-GR). Today, this Tomcat is on exhibit at the Kalamazoo Aviation History Museum (aka Kalamazoo Air Zoo) in Michigan, on loan from the National Museum of Naval Aviation. See photo below by dfndr13:
