Thanks again for a nice posting with some really interesting photos. Once more I would like to express my concern about the thumbnail size of the pictures. I was told by SDASM that the size is due to some automated software used to upload the images to Flickr. Whatever the reasons, the photos -and the museum in general- should offer -when and if possible- to scholars and enthusiasts the best possible material available for purposes of research. These last batches just don't do the trick. Flickr allows for much bigger images, and I am sure the original images have a decent size. A software limitation or lack of technical prowess should not result in poor material for the viewers. I do appreciate and am truly grateful for the hard work of love at the SDSAM, an institution I visited in person many times (I live relatively close by in LA). But please, could you post images of a decent size? It is such a waste of time and resources for the museum otherwise. If the concern is the misuse of the images, could a request system be implemented so people can write or something proving an ID, asking for better copies? It is so sad seeing all these nice photos in the pitiful size they are uploaded here. I am sure I am not alone in the matter. Respectfully Claudio Luchina Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

[https://www.flickr.com/photos/61289374@N05] The technical issue will be fixed shortly, please be patient. We will post images at a somewhat higher resolution soon. However, we have found that some people have been selling copies of our images on ebay and other places, so we are hesitant to post images at high resolution. We operate with a very limited budget, and we rely on income from photo sales and usage to pay for the digitization and IT storage of the images.
