Here, this is a proof the author labeled the photos somewhat incorrectly! (See my other comment about Alupka.) This is Lastochkino Gnezdo ("Swallow's Nest") and it's not even close to Balaklava, and is about half way between Alupka and Yalta. Modern day considered "Greater Yalta". Balaklava is right near Sevastopol, miles away on the other side of Alupka. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swallow%27s_Nest_(Crimea)
