    The name of designer of this monoplane is often misspelled but is Villehad Forssman of Swedish birth. He worked for a time as a designer in Germany during the war. This monoplane - named the Bulldog-Eindecker [Bulldog monoplane] was the second sample built by SSW [Siemens Schuckert Werke] and equipped with a 100 hp rotary Siemens & Halske Sh.I. The picture was taken in Johannisthal (Berlin) in the summer / autumn of 1915.
