Info from Joe Baugher's website 66-8791 McDonnell F-4D-33-MC Phantom II c/n 2687. With 8th TFW, 25th TFS hit by heavy caliber AAA Sep 3, 1969. Make it back to Thai territory, where the crew ejected and were recovered.

Yep, good catch. First D (-24) model was 64-0929. FJ-857 served w/ the 91st TFS 81st TFW @ RAF Bentwaters / Woodbridge before being transferred to Madrid.
