The "Castlereagh Street" is confusing. At the time what we now call Chalmers Street was called Castlereagh even though there was a gap at Belmore Park. See 1895 street map (interactive) - www.nla.gov.au/apps/cdview?pi=nla.map-rm3443-sd&rgn=0... I would say 1880 - 1890 (from the telegraph pole).
