Lillo still exists but is one of the last remaining parts of the Antwerp polder area that currently is _not_ built over by harbour infrastructure. It is nowadays a touristical attraction. What's most surprising is that the water (of the river Scheldt) in this picture is much closer to the walls than it actually is. Today there's about a 200 meter distance between the Scheldt embankments and the walls.
