Departed: March 1, 1977. 4/1977: Sold to the Royal Australian Navy under FMS as N12-152816 side number 852. One of 16 Struck off charge on August 12, 1984. *9/1992: Sold to a private dealer in West Sale, Victoria Australia, and registered as N16FV. Stored with several other S-2s inside a hangar. 2016: Broken up for parts and one of several fuselage hulks shipped to United Aeronautical Corporation, South Wilmot Road, Tucson, AZ, USA Hulk was in existence at least until 2022 at the United Aeronautical Corp North Yard, 5701 S Wilmot Rd, Tucson, AZ 85756, United States. Possibly held on behalf of US Forestry Service with many others as a reserved asset if required in the future fight against ever increasing forest fires in California and elsewhere in the USA>
