This is actually a photo of the Curtiss Carrier Pigeon (NR35 (NC35); c/n 9), flown by Paul Whittier and Slade Hulbert, that refueled the Buhl CA-5 Airsedan named "The Angeleno" (NC3763 (NR3763)) during its record-setting 246 hour 43 minute endurance flight in July 1929.
