    Of the church in Recess: NIAH says it dates from 1925. The DIA says "repairs" 1948. Maybe it burned down? EDIT: no, different church, see below.

    It's incredibly immediate. It feels just like it was taken today, but for the costumes. Btw, if that's a Peterson pipe then I think this must be 1890s or more, although I'm no expert.
