Could well be the AT version of the C-45. Photo is very thin and it is impossible to see any "astrodome" on top. Stig

Michael Mally Not sure what you mean here Michael. As far as I can see the Museum's AT-7 does have its astrodome (well metal navigation turret!) in place, even if the presentation of its USAAF s/n is a bit odd. Not a Beech 18 specialist by far, but to my knowledge all the AT-7s were built with that feature in place. Can't see any reason why the turret should have been removed here. A few were modified, and had it removed, while still in use by the AAF but that was during the post war period. Many AT-7s, when sold to civil users, after the war certainly had it removed. How original and what changes the museum's AT-7 has gone through is beyond me. Stig
