    Info from Wiki N9881S Gulfstream Commander Fanjet 1500 MSN 551 First flight 14 January 1983. Later renamed the Gulfstream Aerospace Peregrine 550. An early attempt at a single engined biz jet but due to stricter regulations on single engined performance in the 80's it did not enter service and the project was terminated in 1985. Only one aircraft was built. Later registered N84GP which is still current in 2021 however it is preserved at the Oklahoma City Science Museum. www.flickr.com/photos/skordes/42152529241/in/photolist-wC...

New production version, powered by four 3,700 lbf (16.5 kN) thrust Garrett TFE731-3 turbofan engines, and fitted with revised external fuel tanks, 40 built. Built in 1976 and registered N711Z. Later reregistered to N711DZ, N93JM, N745DM and N777AY. Retired to Opa Locka FL in 2012 and broken up by late 2014.
