Odd, I cannot find any connection between 42-24338 and Goodyear. 42-24338 was a C-47A delivered in September 1943 to USAAF who in turn almost immediately handed it over to RCAF as 661 (dated 16 Sep 1943). What is actually the civil registration of this Goodyear DC-3? Stig

Stig...It's on here at 2000 pixels width, enough to read the tail number as N1213M with Goodyear ca. 1949 delivered to PAA-Africa (then USAAF ATC as C-47-DL msn 4209 41-7730), a very early C-47... (At first I had it confused with C-FTDJ/CF-TDJ which Goodyear Canada had for a quarter-century, but no connection)
