Pitcarin Autogyro

    Actually this is not a Pitcairn design at all. This is the Cierva C.8W or C.8 Mk IV which was taken to United States in 1928. The upturned wingtips and the modified fin/rudder was done when there. It was flown by Harold Pitcairn at Bolling Field (seen here?), Washington on May 14th 1929 showing it for US Government officials. Stig
