    oaktree_brian_1976 The Romanian Army used the Adrian helmet starting since late 1916 when the first batches of Allied material started to arrive in Romania. At that time, the Romanian helmet had the King Carol I under King Ferdinand I Royal cifres mounted in front on an oval piece of steel sheet where usually stood the French branch insignia. These helmets were generally used until 1938 when the Dutch helmet started to be introduced to the army. However these helmets continued to be used for 2nd line troops, training personel, and even some navy or airforce units throught the duration of WW2.
