Costică Acsinte (sometimes spelled Axinte) was a romanian war photographer who, after discharg, opened a studio in Slobozia, IL. This is a project about digitizing Acsinte's glass plate negatives, supported by Asociația Culturală Atelierele Albe and Muzeul Județean Ialomița. More details can be found on the project website.

    Tanarul este Gica Stanescu, fratele bunicului meu. Am cateva poze de familie cu el insa nu o aveam pe asta. Pe fotografii era stampila "Costica Axinte" , anul este 1939. asa am ajuns sa parcurg pozele din albumul asta. Mi se pare incredibil ca l-am gasit. Multumesc! ❤
